The 8th Koryu-kai in Tokyo
Dcember 19th, 2015

The theme of this year is "力[chikara]・Power or force:
What is Power and how can it be effectively used in Budo? "

*The 7th Friendship Meeting of L.J.B.S.D.A.<Ko-ryu Kai>

The theme of this year is "闘[tou]・戦う[tatakau]: What is Fighting in Budo? "

Wtat do we fight for?......To survive and to live. And to live means to defend
and keep something important to us or someone weaker than us. That might
be our common opinion in Renmei.

Goshin(Self -defense) is also to protect our 'GI':Rectitude, Justice or
Righteousness and health of mind.

The latest Koryu kai was held on December 20, 2014
at the gym (dojo) usually for Zado juku.

Senseis and instructors of various kinds of Budos gathered
at one place for training and free kumite!

It was held by the affiliated Dojos and friendship ones for demonstrations and training together.

Sponsored by Xebec Corp. 40 people participated in it from 7 Dojos.

At The Gym of Kanamachi Elementary school　

This time, the main event of the meeting was not the matches
but the joint training<godo-keiko>

Each Dojo gave demonstration
After that, all the participants experienced the Keiko
according to the training way of each Dojo in turn

And Promotion examination and lots of Kumite Keiko(free sparring) were also held.

Any Dojo can take part in it if yours is in empty-handed Budo or martial art.

Under the principal "Goshin (Self-defense) is real BUDO"
It is also a good opportunity to test yourself
how much your technique is effective as Goshin-jutsu.

That is match-style training with friendship at another Dojo

Outsiders are welcom, but we do not give any participants
no entry to the matches and tournaments this year.

We did not invite guests formally this time
But held as one of ordinary sessions of Joint Keiko.

Only Children fought in the tournaments and Grown-ups did in one-match style.
　
Any Dojo can take part in it if yours is in empty-handed Budo or martial art.

but held according to the spirit of Japanese-Budo Goshinjutsu

among the members and friendship Dojos
