1.  First of all, understand and agree to the content of "Definition " and "Purpose". Then, 
every group: School, Dojo or Gym <"every Group" the following> must have nothing 
to do with these: Yakuza (a gang, a syndicate, etc.) , a cult group, dangerous thinkers' group, 
terrorists or the supporters and all other groups that is not appropriate to the League of
Japan Budo Goshin-jutsu (Self-defense arts) <"the League" the following> . Finally, 
every Group must be a sound and wholesome BUDO or martial-art Group that teaches 
and practices, as a general rule, unarmed Japanese Budo like Karate, Jujutsu, Judo, Aikido, 
Kempo, Sogo（mixed）-budo, Goshinjutsu, etc., at certain place(s) regularly. 

2.  Especially, every Group needs to be a BUDO Group that has already taught and 
practiced Street Goshin-jutsu <Goshin-Sabaki> according to concrete situations or is now
thinking to adopt and introduce it into the Keiko (training). 

3.  Every Group needs to have at least 2 members including an instructor or smaller than 
100 members (99 pupils at most). That means only comparatively small Groups can join the 
League. But under-5-member Groups are considered to be *quasi-official members. And 
every Group needs to approve of having matches or trainings together with different 
schools of even different Budo (martial arts) in friendly relations.  

   *quasi-official member:

 (A): A very small group that consists of a few (2 - 4) people and has had the keiko:
training / practice for 6 months or longer at the same place(s) regularly .

 (B): A Group in a country but Japan that can not take part in such events below (4.).

4.  Every group should help each other and as far as possible, try to take part in the Sogo-
budo Interchanging and Friendship Competition Meet, a good-will Keiko (training / practice) together
with another school <ryu-ha> and other events . However the participation is never compelled.

And the Groups in the countries but Japan are exceptions in the matter though of course they can
participate in all the events. ------In Japan, every Keiko is held in Japanese language because it is too
challenging to express Japanese budo in English and other languages which have different culture from
Japanese one.

5.  Every group must pay the fixed fee <the list below> for the running cost to the
headquarters of the League <"H.Q." the following>. And H.Q. is run by the standing trustees
(="Chairman and Vice-chairmen of the League Directors" or "the founders") < "S.T." the 
following> of the League for the time being. 

* In case of Overseas Groups, we sometimes depend on the economic circumstances of each country. For instance, a group in India shall pay much less money for a result figured out though the amount is now obscure. Ii will be figured out at the average income and other elements of the country.

　* The above is effective in August, 2008 (revised in December, 2010). Every group that is
joining the League (Renmei) pays the corresponding amount by the end of January. H.Q. makes the term till
then preparatory one. And please understand that any money can never be paid back even by any reason after
finished paying.　

　

6.  Every Group must have only the members who are already insured against injury cases.

  If not insured, the group must promise to take the responsibility in that cases during the 
official event including the good-will Keiko <Degeiko> together with another school or Dojo. We, H.
Q. of the League (Renmei), give up the responsibility for any accident of the members.

7.  Every Group must hand in the written rule of Kumite match <shiai-kumite> or sparring, 
if it has its original one, together with the Application Form or right after the rule is made to 
H.Q. of the League.

8.  The above mentioned is a principle. About approval to the new group and matters of
exception, the S.T. talks over and decides. Please do not hesitate to inquire if there is
something indistinct.

9.  Any Group is never forced to do anything as far as "GI" permits.

  However any Group considered being unable to go along with the rules and regulations of
the League can not join the League or must withdraw from it. Every Group or the leader
also can withdraw from the League according to the own will whenever he wants to,
provided that the group, in advance, gives only the reason for withdrawing to H.Q.. 

10. The attendants at a conference or a meeting <regular / irregular> by the trustees and
directors<one or two representatives from each Group> have the right to decide everything
finally. And it is natural that an absentee ought to follow the decision by them. But, the S.T.
should let all the Members of the League know the agenda in advance to get their opinions.

11. For the time being, the H.Q. office is set up in the one of ZADO JUKU at 3-27-11,
Kanamachi Katsushika-ward, Tokyo 1250042, Japan. And almost all of the office routine is
managed by these three S.T.: (1) J. Tayama <Chairman of the League Directors/ Juku-
cho of ZADO JUKU (6-Dan, sensei)> , (2) Sei Miura  <Vice-chairman of the League
Directors/ Kan-cho of Goshin-Sha (sensei)> and (3) Ippei Tayama <Vice-chairman of
the League Directors/ ZADO JUKU (4-Dan, Quasi-Shihan, sensei)>

12. The right of photos and video taken or handed in, in all the activities or procedures of
the League, is for the League of Japan Budo Goshinjutsu (Self-defense Arts) and they may
be used without the person's permission at any time for the purpose of progress of the
League and Budo Goshinjutsu <self-defense arts> even after withdrawing. However they
are never used for the other.

Please understand all of those.
